How to apply

When a Registration of Interest Form is submitted, the applicant must provide the following information for everyone in the household aged 16 years and older:

  • Proof of income that is less than two weeks old
  • Proof of assets
  • Proof of identity

Any extenuating circumstances identified as part of the Housing Needs Assessment (HNA) must be substantiated e.g. letter from a Dr, Psychologist or Disability Support Provider with evidence of intellectual disability.

The HNA includes an assessment of priority of need and has three categories:

Category 1: people in urgent need of housing and who have long term barriers to accessing and maintaining private rental or housing options.

Category 2: People who are not in need of urgent housing but who have long term barriers to accessing or maintaining private housing options - e.g. private rental, or people who meet automatic entry criteria.

Category 3: People who don't have urgent housing needs or long term barriers to other housing options.
